In this workshop we will guide you through the process of taking your hand-drawn calligraphy and turning it into digital artwork that can be used for various projects such as prints invitations logo/ monogram design Laser engraving/ cuttings letterpress invites making various label design for wine and champagne and even costuming project or print making for merchandise.

For all this thigs you need to digitize your script and convert them in specific vector format which will not be rejected by any printers. Investing in this workshop will not only enhance your calligraphy skills but also give you the ability to turn your passion into a potential source of income.

What you will learn?

If you have an iPad then it's good but if you don't have it then don't worry about that!!

Day 1.

1. How to scan or take pic of handwritten letters for digitization.
2. Introduction to the Method of Digitizing with iPad ( procreate)
3. How to modify it in Procreate
4. How to practice different script in the Procreate App.
5. Introduction to Adobe Photoshop (you can use a free trial plan by Adobe)
6. How to Use Photoshop to enhance the quality of the scan or procreate handwritten script
7. how to remove unwanted things from script or how to remove any background from script
8. Use of file conversion formats
   

Day 2.

1. Introduction to Adobe illustrator software (you can use free trial plan by Adobe)
2. Basics tool you must know before you starts with illustrator software.
3. How to simplify / modify the complicated curves and make perfect hairlines
4. How to apply various effects (3D) gradients color to the letterings.
5. How to make or use various templates for logo design and monogram design.
6. How to make/ send the vector files for letterpress invite printings laser cutting and metal stickers.
7. How to convert one artwork in various file formats for different jobs.
   

Day 3.

1. How to use vectorize files and formats for different projects.
2. How to make/apply digitized script on mock-ups in photoshop.
3. How to send the files to clients/ printers which will not get corrupted or fail to read.
4. How to use your digital work for business card website posters Instagram profile logo or watermark on work.
5. Final tip and trick with Q&A session.

What you need for this workshop:-

1. Laptop or Desktop is must.
2. Adobe Photoshop and Adobe illustrator (you can use free trial plan by Adobe)
3. Scanner/ Mobile phone camera of good quality.
4. Calligraphy tools and paper to create handwritten calligraphy
5. Good internet speed.
